It’s that time of year again in League of Legends.
The new patch, Patch 7.15, will be used in the upcoming qualifiers of the Worlds. So, it can be easily speculated that almost every champion will undergo some changes before being handed over to pros for the qualifiers.

Some balanced pro plays are likely to be on exhibition as the qualifiers for the upcoming LoL WC will be played on the all new Patch 7.15.
Andrei “Meddler” van Roon from Riot games comprehensively talked about the potential changes in the upcoming Patch 7.15. Moreover, he also revealed that this patch will be implemented over the entire course of qualifiers.
The main objective of the patch is to focus on balanced pro play. The changes will involve a little tinkering to a large number of champions. These changes are either overpowered or just not strong enough for competitive play.
As a consequence, over 30 champions will be tweaked, but not all of them will be on the PBE at once.
Some of the changes might take place in the next patch, Patch 7.16. The patch will involve changes to Lux, Miss Fortune, and Nasus. For Nasus, Q will have a much lower cool down when he hits his ultimate. Also, his E will have a percentage-based shred.
With a more auto-attacked, centric play style being tested on Miss Fortune, some more base attack speed will be granted to the champion. Not many details have been revealed about Lux apart from her overall team fighting ability being boosted.
There has been a lot of talk about the upcoming changes to the Masteries and Runes by Riot games. They have also accepted some opinions from the community.
The latest post gives some useful insights about what Riot has done so far. Riot has conducted player research labs in Korea, China, and recently in North Korea. They have randomly selected players from each region and have discussed with streamers as well.
When it comes to making big changes, this is the most popular method by Riot. This method was implemented by Riot in making the new honor system, changes to visuals, and gameplay updates.

One of the sister squads of LGD Gaming, LFY, is having some visa issues regarding two of their players- He “Inflame” Yongzheng and Du “Monet” Peng. The organization is working on ways to arrange a second round of interviews for its players.
According to the official post of LGD on weibo, the organization did send the photographs of the letters and official documents to the embassy. In a matter of few minutes, the above-mentioned players were denied entry to the USA.
The foreign teams have always faced problems in the LAN tournaments because of the visa issues. Inflame had previously secured the visa to compete in the TI, however, he was not able to receive a replacement visa when he recently lost his passport. This will be a hard news as he was previously denied a visa to compete in the Boston Major.
In order to overcome the problems in Boston, LGD took measures to grant the Chinese Midplayer a longer term visa. Monet is also facing difficulties, even after visiting US soil three times after Boston Major.
The event is set to kick off in less than two weeks, but LGD is not giving up. The organization is making arrangements to seek out the visa problems at hand by pushing for a second interview.
In the last year’s TI6, LGD’s Xue “September” Zhichuan was unable to attend the event. The player was denied his visa four times in a row. Wang “Banana” Jiao played as the substitute for September. In the previously held Boston Major, LFY had to replace Monet and Luo “Lpc” Puchao, as both were denied visas.
As teams are preparing for the TI tournament, these are neither the first nor the last visa problems for the teams competing. Clutch Gamers were quite unfortunate, as they were unable to compete for the DotA Summit 7, held in June.
A United States Senator, Maria Cantwell, has been working with Valve for two years to assist the teams with visa issues. Just in the last few hours before the kick off of Ti6, Senator Cantwell helped to obtain visas for Execration as well as TnC. With only a few minutes to spare, the teams managed to come to Seattle.
But ViCi Gaming Reborn was not as lucky as Execration and TnC as two of their players, Zhou “Yang” Haiyang and September missed the event.
KeyArena in Seattle, Washington, will host The International 7 in two weeks. On August 2nd, the group stages will kick off and eighteen teams will compete for a ticket to the main event.
On August 7-12th the remaining 16 teams fight for the most prestigious trophy in competitive DotA 2. The prize pool for TI7 is already over a record shattering $21 million.
