Home I eSports I eSports I Esports Betting – Mousesports vs Virtus.Pro ECS Season 5
The ECS Season is in full swing. We are giving you our detailed betting analysis for two of the most interesting matches in the league – mousesports vs Virtus.Pro and Godsent vs G2 eSports.
In ECS Season 5 mousesports has been performing quite decently. The European side has managed to get to 5th place after three weeks of action. In that period, the side has lost six and won four of the 10 games played against five teams. In the first week, the side was able to get a 1-1 score against FaZe Clan. In the next games the side also drew the series against Team EnvyUs, GODSENT, Fnatic, and Astralis.
It’s been only three weeks since the ECS started, however, the side is also playing in the ESL Pro League Europe. There they have played almost 80% of their games. Moreover, they beat Virtus.Pro in the ESL 2-0, so we should see a repeat of that result in the next few days.
The star player of mousesports is none other than Tomáš “oskar” Šťastný. In the ESL, he has a K/D of 1.24 with 432 kills to 352 deaths.
The side of Virtus.Pro has been struggling to get wins on the board this season in the ECS as well as ESL. In the ECS the side sits at 7th place with only three wins and six losses. In the ESL, the side drew against FaZe Clan, Astralis, Fnatic, and Gambit, while winning against Ninjas in Pyjamas. Now at the midpoint of the ESL they sit at 12th place with only five wins to nine losses. The side really needs a win to their name, however, it will be quite difficult against mousesports, who beat them quite convincingly earlier in the ESL. Let’s have a look at their game against Fnatic.
Not the best form from the team in white and red against Fnatic. Virtus.Pro on Cobblestone had huge problems with an effective attack. As a consequence, Fnatic led as much as 14 to 1 after the first half. From this point, it was almost certain who would win the first map. After the change of sides, Janusz “Snax” Pogorzelski and his colleagues managed to improve the result a little.
However, Fnatic won 16 to 4. At Mirage, their performance was much better and we witnessed a balanced competition. However, the valuable three points went to the Swedes who won 16 to 11. Currently, Virtus.Pro is ninth in the European edition and has six points.
The man who just might rescue them against mouse is Lars “KRIMZ” Freddy Johansson. In the games played in the ESL, he managed 283 kills to 270 deaths. These might not be the best stats, however, at the moment these are the best ones that the side could manage.
Mousesports 2 – 0 Virtus.Pro
Mousesports 1.40 – 2.76 Virtus.Pro
G2 Esports are dead last in the ECS Season 5. The reason why is because they have yet to start their ECS campaign. However, to predict the outcome of the upcoming match against GODSENT we can use their ESL Stats. In the ESL, the side has been underperforming with only four games remaining. In the 22 matches played the side has average stats with 10 wins and 12 loses. The French side is currently ranked 7th with a 45%-win rate. At the start of the season, the side only won three games with seven losses.
However, they have recovered as the team has won six of the last eight games played. Moreover, the side is currently on a four game winning streak, so they will be confident against GODSENT. The leading player is Kenny ”KennyS” Schrub, who has tremendously improved in his performances. He has managed a decent K/D of 1.15, with 457 kills to 397 deaths. He would be the man to give the winning start to his side.
In 2018 G2 had a 5 – 8th place finish at the ELEAGUE Major: Boston 2018. This is nothing compared to their exceptional season in 2017. They won the DreamHack Open Tours 2017, ESL Pro League Season 5 – Finals, and the DreamHack Masters Malmö 2017. Let’s just hope the season changes for the side as they start their ECS campaign.
Meanwhile GODSENT have started their ECS Season 5 campaign. So far, the side is third from the bottom with three wins and five losses in the four series played. The side started the league with 1-1 against Astralis. After that, they repeated the same score against mousesports, Team EnvyUs, and Ninjas in Pyjamas. The inexperience roster of the side could prove costly for them against one of the best sides in Europe. Their highest achievement is the 3rd – 4th place finishes at the Play2Live Cryptomasters.
G2 Esports 2 – 0 GODSENT
G2 Esports 1.33 – 3.10 GODSENT
