ESL Pro League

The ESL Pro League is a venture project of the ESL (Electronic Sports League) and the ESEA (E-Sports Entertainment Association) . On April 28th in 2015, they started the worldwide Counter-Strike: Global Offensive ESports League, “ESL ESEA Pro League”. With 1 million in total prizes for the first season and some of the best CS: GO teams in the world, the ESL Pro League has quickly become one of the most popular and interesting leagues in the world.

ESL Pro League Events

In Season 3 of the EPL, Indigo at The O2 in London hosted the spectacular finals. The crowd saw the tense win of Luminosity Gaming over their rivals, G2 eSports, in the Grand Finale. With that title, the Brazilian team demonstrated incredible form and established itself as a serious contender for each CS: GO event in 2016.
This year’s finals will take place in Sao Paulo, Brazil, at the end of October. The best teams in both NA and EU regions will fight for the championship title. Among the participants are significant teams like SK Gaming, NaVi, Team Liquid, mousesports, NiP, and many more. Of course, contenders must earn their spots in the finals by eliminating a lot of strong competitors. We will miss the presence of a proven team like Virtus.pro, but surely the competition will bring some incredible plays to the crowd. ESL Pro League Games

Currently, the only discipline that takes place in the league is Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. The competitive scene of the most popular first-person shooter game in the world evolves incredibly fast. This is the reason why organizers from the ESL and ESEA have chosen that eSports discipline.

ESL Pro League History

Four seasons for two years is something really incredible. For that short history, the EPL was the arena of unpredictable battles, solid plays, and amazing comebacks. Every subsequent season becomes more and more interesting.
