Team Digital Chaos is a professional North American DotA 2 team, founded in August 2015 by the co-owner of DotaCinema, Shannon “SUNSfan” Scotten. This is a truly international team because all five players are from different countries. Differences in nationality have not prevented the team from climbing to number 1 in Gosugamer’s ranking for the North American region and number 2 in the world ranking.

Firstly we have the mid-laner Roman”Resolut1on” Fominok, who is from Ukraine. Then we have Rasmus “MiSeRy” Filipsen from Denmark, Martin“Saksa” Sazdov from Macedonia, Canadian David“MoonMeander” Tan, and Aliwi“w33” Omar who is Romanian.

Games

Similar to a lot of other Dota 2 teams, Digital Chaos is only competing in Dota 2. Although it would be a pleasure to watch the team in different disciplines, for now that is not possible. However, Digital Chaos was a pleasant surprise at this year’s Dota 2 International with their second place finish, after losing the final from Chinese team Wings.

Digital Chaos History

Digital Chaos’ initial roster was formed shortly after The International in 2015. Teammates Tyler “TC” Cook, Yawar “YawaR” Hassa, Kanishka ‘Sam’ “BuLba” Sosale, Kurtis “Aui_2000” Ling, and Hà “Biryu” Quốc Đạtfailed to qualify for The Frankfurt Major, and Biryu was replaced by Theeban “1437” Siva as captain. However, the team continued to suffer and was disbanded after two months. The rebirth of the team started with the player w33, who joined with MiSeRy, Resolut1on,Saksa, and Moo to complete the new Digital Chaos roster.

The newly formed Digital Chaos did well in American qualifiers, but struggled at international events, finishing second-to-last in every premier event they attended. Because of that, the second place at the International 2016 was a big surprise.
