It’s about time that Virtus.Pro will face Mousesports in the best-of-two series at DreamLeague Season 7. It will be quite interesting to see both teams fighting to claim some points.

After being acquired by Mousesports, the Ad Finem squad is looking pretty weak in the competitive scene. It isn’t the old team we know now because they are unable to deliver what the viewers and other spectators want to see from them. All of them are demanding a top tier performance just like in the Boston Major. However, the condition of Mousesports in the tournament is not good either.
Although Mousesports have played only three series in the tournament so far (and lost all three of them), their performance is not up to the mark. They are making unnecessary mistakes in their game. One of the key points should be noted that the supports rotation on the map is somewhat confusing in my opinion. If they plan to gank on some enemy core hero, then they fail to do so because of poor execution.
The whole squad of Mousesports is known for not giving up and they play the game until their Throne is taken down. But that can be the case only when they draft some good teamfight control heroes. Lately, they have been picking solo targeting heroes which is kind of weird since it was all different in The Boston Major.
Mousesports might be trying to get over the changes in the patch 7.06 and adopt to it accordingly, but even in that case, they need to do it fast because they can’t lose any of the upcoming series in the tournament.
As the recent runner-ups of the Kiev Major, Virtus.Pro are on a hunt to grab some victories in DreamLeague Season 7. They played their first match against Elements Pro Gaming in the tournament, which ended up in a draw. Before that, Virtus.Pro had a winning spree of three games.
Let’s talk about the recent performance of Virtus.Pro and their team fight capability. Virtus.Pro’s position one player, Roman “RAMZES666” Kushnarev, is always playing the type of carry which can join the team fights in the early stages of the game and can also be transformed into a beast in the +40 minute games. RAMZES666 is known as one of the best position one players in the DotA 2 competitive scene and he is able to farm out quickly on the entire map.
Next Vladimir “Noone-” Minenko mostly plays the heroes that are creating space for the rest of the team. Initially, he needs some farm to get core items, but once he goes for that, his hero becomes unstoppable. Just like RAMZES666, his farm rate is also very decent.
Let’s not forget the roaming duo of Ilya “Lil” Ilyuk and Alexei “Solo” Berezin in the game. Most of the time, Lil plays some of the best DotA and along with Noone-, he is the key space creator for the entire team. His roam timing is on point and he knows that what the enemy is planning.
Definitely it will be Virtus.Pro that will emerge victorious in the best-of-two series against Mousesports, mainly because of good coordination and team fight potential.
In case you are wondering about First 10 kills on the map, Virtus.Pro will be the one to grab it in both games.
Elements Pro Gaming vs. Team Empire will be the last best-of-two series of the day at DreamLeague Season 7. Both the teams will be exhibiting strong performances in the match to keep their dreams alive in the tournament.
Let’s talk about Elements Pro Gaming first. They have been quite weak since the last few patches and by looking at their gameplay, it seems like they are unable to execute for what they have drafted. Another issue with Elements Pro Gaming is that their draft is okay but their coordination is still very weak as compared to the rest of the teams in the tournament.
It is understandable that they are playing against the top tier teams in the event, however they have failed to show some kind of team spirit. In the whole tournament, they haven’t won a single series and the last time they played, it was draw against Virtus.Pro.
This series, Elements Pro Gaming might want to inspire themselves and fight hard for whatever it takes to win it. However, to execute such a masterplan, they have to come up with some of the best tactics they can use against the former runner-ups, Team Empire.
Team Empire is performing very well lately. They have a lineup that is causing havoc among the top tier teams like Virtus.Pro, Team Secret, Alliance, etc. They are the upcoming squad that might become the next TI champions (who knows with their unpredictability).
Their recent clash with Virtus.Pro in the Mr.Cat Invitational Tournament resulted in a 2-1 loss. However, they did put up a great fight against the runner-ups of the Kiev Major.
Talking about the lineup, Yaroslav “Miposhka” Naidenov and Andrey “Ghostik” Kadyk are both wonderful players on the team. Every time they do some magical plays to turn the tables around. Their performance in the Mr.Cat Invitational was exceptional, where they cleanly swept Team Secret 2-0 in the best-of-two series.
The team fight potential and positioning of each player in the team fight is very good.
The answer is obvious here. Team Empire will be looking forward to grab some juicy wins in the DreamLeague Season 7. They know that now is the time to take advantage of the team who is not performing great lately. As far as the first 10 kills are concerned, it will be Team Empire in both games.
