Home I Latest News I Be the Champion
Let’s get ready for our next DFS Promotion of the week. You know that famous burst of music that accompanies the start of Champions League matches? You know, this one:
Well, you’ll be screaming it from the rooftops if you claim the top prize in our DFS Promotion of the Week, which stands at a rather handsome $20,000!
It is really simple to play our DFS Promo of the Week. The contest is already live (it will actually run on Tuesday October 18), and players can either enter directly for $1,000 or enter one of the myriad satellite tournaments.
These satellites are open as of today right through to October 18, with buy-ins ranging from $12 to $185. If you enter one of those then a certain amount of qualifiers will gain direct access to the UCL Golden Goal Promo.
Then, all you need to do is draft your roster of eight players as per normal – remembering that three entries are allowed per person, if you want to maximize your chances of winning.
Once you’ve done that, click enter, sit back, and watch as your squad hopefully brings you home one of the top prizes.
And about those prizes, well, they are currently shaping up like this:
Incidentally, there are further prizes of $2,500 (9th-11th), $2,000 (12th-16th) and $1,500 (17th-26th) available in this 111 entry contest.
Of course, if you want to stand a good chance of bagging the $20k top prize in our DFS Promotion of the Week then you’ll need to have your Champions League game locked in tight, and here’s where we can help.
Scoring points is the name of the game, and for that you will be looking to draft the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Riyad Mahrez, whose Real Madrid and Leicester City sides should deliver comfortable victories over Legia Warsaw and Copenhagen respectively.
Some of their defenders, such as Sergio Ramos and Christian Fuchs should also come into your thinking given their clean sheet potential; and we mustn’t forget that Ramos pops up with the odd goal too, as he did in last season’s Champions League final.
If you’re looking for a sleeper pick or two, then why not try Dinamo Zagreb’s roster? Okay, they aren’t the greatest team in the world, but they are hosting a Sevilla side who went W0 D9 L10 last season on the road compared to W14 D1 L4 at home!
