Home I eSports I Riot Games Reveals New Dark Star Skins
The community of League of Legends should prepare itself for the Dark Star skins. Learn more now!
The developer released the three new cosmetics on 28th May. One of the champions getting the skin is Jhin. It is not surprising to see him get it since back in January 2019 Riot promised a legendary skin for the AP hero. The other two candidates who will be getting the Dark Star look are Shaco and Karma.
The players who drafted this champion recently complained about not having received a skin for several years. We don’t know when we will be seeing the skins in the main client. But we do know that they will get them on the PBE test servers in the next few days.
The new Dark Star skins were revealed by Riot on 28th May. The Twitter account of the developer posted PBE previews of the skins before they made them available for the community. Shaco and Karma skins are simple variants of the Dark Star theme. Yet the Dark Cosmic Jhin falls in the legendary category. One of the most popular ADC picks receives an ambient effect on his ultimate. Meanwhile, his basic attacks will now cast interstellar missiles.
Jhin has received tons of skins since his arrival into the Summoner’s Rift. He is picked quite often in the competitive games and also played quite a lot in all the ranked tiers. Meanwhile, Karma the conqueror got her last skin back in April 2017. She was granted the privilege after her exceptional popularity in the professional scene. Shaco the Wild Card got his last skin in May 2015. The added skin will surely boost the pick rate of the champion in the game.
The community spent almost an entire week waiting for the skins to be uploaded on the PBE servers of the game. They PBE was not updated because of Memorial Day. Nonetheless, we will surely get some changes in the next couple of days.
The arrival to the three champions will surely expand the Dark Star lineup since it holds some of the most popular champions in its collection. After this announcement, the lineup includes Varus, Thresh, Kha’Zix, Jarvan IV, Cho’Gath, Shaco, Karma and Jhin.
League of Legends champion Mordekaiser (LoL) received a rework on May 28. The changes in the champion’s visual and skill kit had been announced in January this year by the Riot Games development team.
Mordekaiser, who had already undergone previous modifications, gained a massive update that amplifies the power of his basic attacks. It also boosts the damage dealt by his Q.
His W and E have been completely reworked. Mordekaiser’s changes are currently available on the PBE and they might make their way to the main client with the next update.
