“BERRI SWEET” is 2017’s Biggest Winner for Online High Stakes

Although some people say it is getting more and more difficult to make a living out of online poker, 2017 still saw a lot of action at the online high stakes.

 

While Viktor “Isildur1” Blom vs “RaúlGonzalez” definitely was the most epic battle of the year, none of the two made it to the top.

 

Instead Isildur’s unknown fellow countryman BERRI SWEET kept on crushing and surprisingly became 2017’s Biggest Online Winner with $1,769,395 profit, closely followed by Russian wizard Timofey “Trueteller” Kuznetsov, who ended up with a plus of 1.45 million dollars.

 

Dutchmen Carlo “Ravenswood13” van Ravenswoud, ActionFreak, and newcomer Linus “LLinusLLove“ Lölinger from Switzerland also had a very good year.

Sami Kelopuro and Dani Stern Among the Biggest Losers

 

On the downside of variance were Sami “Lrslzk” Kelopuro, 8superpoker, and Dani “supernova9” Stern, who all lost more than $770k. Lrslzk is the biggest loser of 2017 at the online high stakes with $1,277,737 in the red.

 

The biggest winner of the last 2 years, Alexander “joiso” Kostritsyn, surprisingly booked a loss as did one of the best Heads-Up No-Limit Hold’em player in the world, Dan “w00ki3z” Cates.
