Bayern has been on an incredible streak since Hansi Flick became their manager. Their main players scored against Barcelona and if they keep the intensity high against Lyon, it will be basically impossible for the French side to keep up with the Bavarian quality. Man United though has been one of the Premier League’s finest teams after the re-start. They have been on a great winning streak and went unbeaten for a long time and managed to qualify for the 2020/21 Champions League season. United won both of their two matches against LASK Linz and proved that they are capable of winning the Europa League title back in 2017. They are clearly one of the strongest remaining teams of the competition and have decent odds of lifting the trophy in the end.

So far, there hasn’t been a lot of games between these two teams. They played twice against each other in 2006 during the Champions League group stage. United won their first home match against the Danish side 3-0 but lost their road game in Copenhagen 0-1.

Leicester was playing really well until the restart of the season. Brendan Rodger’s team was pretty much Champions League-bound for the upcoming season, however, the global pandemic cause the Premier League to take a break.

Since the season restarted, Leicester totally failed to come up with some decent results. They have won just two times since the restart in June and lost a total of four games. While they scored seven points at home in four games, they constantly kept falling apart on the road. The squad scored just two points in five matches which is an absolute disaster.

Man Utd, on the other hand, have been playing an absolutely fantastic second half of the season. They have lost just one game since early January 2020 against Chelsea in the semi-finals of the FA Cup. However, they remain unbeaten in the Premier League since the restart.

They won four of their five road matches thus far and conceded very few goals. The team has certainly heavily improved since the start of the season. However, they have to come up with a good result on Sunday to secure a top-four spot in the Premier League table to save their season.

Manchester United will be going into the game with a very decent head-to-head record against the hosts. The last time the Leicester won against Man Utd was back in 2014. Manchester won three games in a row against Leicester and they have won four games straight at home against them.

They have also won three of the past four road matches against the hosts and therefore it’s not surprising that the bookies think they are favored to win the upcoming match on Sunday.

Manchester United’s goal this season has been to return to the Champions League and even though they had a poor start they have certainly turned the tides. United has been performing really well and if they manage to avoid a defeat on the road, they will be competing against other European world-class teams next season.

Even though United have had a pretty packed schedule most recently, they absolutely have to be fresh on Sunday. There is a lot on the line and the players have to be aware of it. Leicester is certainly a strong opponent, but in this game, I wouldn’t recommend betting on them. Their most recent performances have been disappointing and it kind of seems like that they basically ran out of steam at this point.
